Tonner has done a lot of Wonder Woman figures in the past and most of them are really nice. But this one, in particular, is one of the best. First of all, this is the very first (and to date only) time they've done a Wonder Woman figure that represents her original look and first appearance. The head sculpt (as always) is beautiful and, especially in this case where the doll represents an era of the 1940s or so. The look of this gal absolutely fits the time period that she represents. The black wavy hair is perfectly styled as you would expect from that era.

Wonder 'Woman's outfit is also extremely accurate for that period. The simple design includes a blue pleated skirt which is a little longer than what we would expect to see in a modern design. Again, appropriate for the era and accurate to the DC comic books that she appeared in at the time. Her golden lasso is harnessed to a plain white belt. Wonder Woman's top utilizes an embroidered patch for the golden bird on her torso. Clear straps are used over her shoulders to hold the top up.

Her red high-heeled boots come three-quarters of the way to her knees and have white accents across the fronts. Wonder Woman has golden metal wrist bands and a matching golden tiara with a red star emblem.

One thing that really drives the high value on this figure is the extremely limited run of only 100 pieces. Good luck finding one!
