Years ago, when I saw this figure on clearance, I had to buy it. While I hate the Barbie-style articulation, it was the first (and still only) sixth-scale Storm figure. I also didn't really care about the civilian outfit as this wasn't a big aspect of the Storm character in X-Men books, but I suspect this was done by Toybiz to give these figures a broader appeal and reach young girls who might not be interested in comic books. Another reason I didn't buy this figure at full price was because I prefer Storm in her original black outfit instead of this white version. All that said, the head sculpt is really nice and a perfect likeness of Storm. Female figures with long hair should always have rooted hair so that was another plus for me. If you can pick this Storm figure up for a good price, it's great to use for customizing your own Storm. Pop the head and uniform onto a sixth-scale articulated body and voila!
