Sixth-Scale Storm Action Figure from Toybiz

Toybiz and Marvel Comics present this 12" dressed Storm.

Storm's head has full freedom of movement and can rotate 180º and also tip back and forth. Storm has a total of nine points of articulation – typical of what we see in a traditional Barbie doll.

Each shoulder is a ball-joint which offers complete freedom of movement. Storm also has a click-type joint at each elbow typical of Barbie dolls. Storm's hips also have a ball-joint giving it a wide range of motion. Like the elbows, each knee of this figure has a click-type joint.

Earlier female figures from this line (i.e. 12 Inch Collector Heros in larger boxes with a second outfit) did not have the click-joints at the knees and elbows.

This second edition Storm is clad in the iconic look made popular after she went through a metamorphosis in Uncanny X-Men comic books. Her mohawk hairstyle stands proudly and is made from white rooted hair.

Storm's sleeveless black bodysuit is removable and can be seen underneath her pleather-like sleeveless black vest. Around her waist are two silver belts with silver buckles. Her black knee-length boots are removable and made from a soft rubber.

Orphaned on the streets of Cairo at a young age, Ororo Munroe grew up to become the X-Men leader, Storm. Controlling the elements with her thoughts, Storm can create hurricane winds and lightening bolts with ease. Possessing wisdom gained from a lifetime of hardship and adventure, Storm is one reason why the X-Men continue to be victorious in their never-ending battle against the forces of evil.

This sixth-scale Storm figure is a must-have for any X-Men fan. Although the figure lacks some articulation, this edition of Storm represents only the second time Storm was represented as a sixth-scale figure. Toybiz did an amazing job of capturing Storm in her punk-rock era complete with mohawk, choker, and skin-tight black bodysuit. Storm is not only ready to lead the X-Men, but she's ready to throw down with Callisto and become the new leader of the Morlocks as well. Highly recommended.
