Like the other male figures in this line, Spider-Man utilizes a standard body that was created by Toybiz exclusively for this line of sixth-scale figures. The body is simply ridiculous for you average super-hero –– it's just way too massive and doesn't at all match the lean physique Spider-Man should have. Besides that, the articulation isn't that great. The shoulders and hips have a ball-joint so they move really well, but the knees and elbows use a Barbie-doll type mechanism and they simply don't work well on these bulky bodies. Even though the outfit itself is really nicely made, I don't like the sculpted head or at least this rendition. The eyes are just too big (and not in a McFarlane sort of way) and too close together. This would have been a great figure at the time if Toybiz had tweaked the design a little bit.
